Thirty-One Fundraiser!

The Lost Stork Foundation is having another fundraiser, just in time for Christmas! A consultant from Thirty-One is gracious enough to host a fundraiser event for us in which the Lost Stork receives 20% of the total sales prices. If we can sell $1,000 we'll earn $200 which is our goal.

The event is from November 23rd through Wednesday December 7th. Please visit this link to order. If the link doesn't work (it's given me problems on Facebook) then you can visit www.thirtyonegifts.com and search by our consultant, Debra Verneau in Georgia. Under her "My Events" link you'll see a link for the Lost Stork Fundraiser. Please use this "Shop Now" link to make your purchase to ensure that our organization receives the 20% donation.

If you make a purchase please note that your credit card will show a pending purchase until the fundraiser closes on December 7th. At this time your credit card will be charged and all orders placed during the fundraising period will submitted and ship within 10 days. Our fundraiser closes in time to receive all products by Christmas so please consider buying something to help us reach our goal. You can also help to spread the word! Below is the Thirty-One December Specials which you can receive by spending just $31 or more.

Sickness

The one and ONLY reason I dislike fall/winter... Illness!

As I'm sure every other family feels the same way.

Our household was struck by a lovely headcold that Little Miss seemed to have picked up {probably from one of our many mall playplace days}. She "shared" with Charles in a wonderful daughter/father way.

A good solid week+ of them sick. Ugh.

I was boasting that I wasn't going to get sick. I had managed to get through it. Yay me!

And then today hit. :-( My bets are on strep throat versus headcold though...

So I'll go crawl back onto the couch and let Charles pamper me, in dream world anyways. :-)

-Why yes that was mostly a pity party post. Whoops.

Christmas Card 2011!

I can't believe how "on the ball" I am this year with Christmas!

I only have TWO people left to buy for and I know exactly what they are getting AND I just finished our Christmas Card for this year! Go me! :-)

Love it?! Only a few photos to capture Madelyn's "Firsts" in 2011...

First snow. First ferry ride. First family {of 3} vacation to Nashville, TN. First hotel stay. First plane ride. First campfire. First road trip {to Georgia} + First time sucking her thumb! First time at Chick-fil-a Dwarf House. First time to Florida's Walt Disney World. First carousal ride + first trip to the zoo!

Oh so many first... So much fun we had in 2011! I'm so excited for 2012 and all the first that will accompany it!

Changing it Up

I think Charles and I have officially come to terms that while hotel living was to be "temporary", as in, no more than two months, we are beginning to think that "temporary" is going to be up to a year.

So be it. Accept and move on.

In coming to terms with this, we are moving things around and changing up stuff. Before, the computer was in the bedroom. This looked better but was not functional at all! Little Miss HATES for anyone to be on the computer so basically if I couldn't access it via my cell phone, I wasn't doing anything computer related. Now, Charles has so kindly moved the computer out to the itty bitty dining room table. I am currently typing as she is asleep for the night. :-)

I've missed blogging... And reading blogs...

Hopefully now with this new change I'll be back a little more frequently, both reading and posting!

So do I have any readers still??? ;-)

The raffle ends Tuesday November 15th and the winners will be announced by the end of the week. Even if you can't participate please help spread the word!

I'll be back, eventually, with lots more updating!!! Can you believe I'm the mother to a ONE YEAR OLD though?! And life {still} in a hotel... And why breastfeeding trumps fertility (not by my choice though)...
