Style Help!

So one of my brothers is getting married Father's Day weekend... It is a relaxed evening outdoor wedding. I have two dresses and need help. Seriously. Which one do I wear? What accessories would you get to go with it? I went into Charming Charlie's with such an optimistic thought that I would find just the right pieces to go with the dresses to help me choose and yeah, epic fail. I suck. Long necklaces or "choker" types?  Necklaces, bracelets, hair accessory, and cocktail ring too much?  I have no style what so ever. I seriously need to hire someone to dress me. Charles would appreciate that... So would my mom apparently. :-)  Oh, and I want some sort of jacket ish to go over it- would a scarf suffice?  I'm thinking something I can use that looks nice but also would be good to cover nursing toddler since the wedding is in the middle of like a thousand acres.

So all my fashion gurus, tell me/show me what to get to go with these dresses!!!!!  Which is more "wedding" friendly?  I want to wear the black and wear my black flip flops but my mom says no way jose...  haha!

Black Dress, Knee ish length.

Blue Dress, floor length.

Ryan and Grace - if you happen to read this, don't judge me!  haha!  I'm trying to look presentable for your wedding for goodness sakes!  :-)  Desperate times call for desperate measures!

Now to find which dress Little Miss shall wear...  And a back up since it is an out door wedding and all which means dirt will be involved which means she will need an outfit change.  :-)

Thank you for narrowing it down to 2 choices! I like the black dress for an evening summer wedding - you may get too hot in a longer dress. I would put a colorful wrap or scarf over your shoulders, but nothing too busy since you have the ruffle. I would wear some nice earrings and the cocktail ring; no necklace since you already have the ruffle and wrap. But that's just my opinion - Lord knows I'm no style maven, either!

If you have no earrings, you can do a hair accessory.

On second look, I also like the blue dress, with a solid navy wrap, navy or silver shoes and silver accessories - a couple of simple bangle bracelets, a silver hair clip and a ring. Still no necklace.

I do not have any style myself but I really like the black dress with some pearl earrings (if you have them). I like the idea of silver shoes if you have them. I look forward to hearing what you decide on!!

I vote for the black dress, no scarf or jacket since it will be a June wedding. Um, you could probably wear a nice long necklace, but I agree with PP. Not really needed since the neckline is a ruffle. I say wear a nice thick cuff bracelet and a pair of hoopy earrings and a cute cocktail ring. strappy sandls with wedge heels. Cute and ready to go!

Sorry, meant to say cuff bracelet OR a cocktail ring. Probably won't need both together...too busy. :)

MEL - In other circumstances, I would not necessarily suggest wearing a wrap with the black dress either. But she specifically wants something that can double as a cover for nursing Little Miss at the wedding, and I think a scarf or wrap is appropriate. She doesn't have to wear it all the time.

Since the wrap is necessary for nursing, I agree! :-)

So regardless looks like cocktail ring, earrings, and a thick cuff bracelet are on my shopping list....

Oh, shoes, must look for shoes! Why didn't God give me style sense?!?! Or at least wealthy so someone else could shop for me?! :-)
