Ferning!!! {And a Giveaway, my first!}

I decided that although we are on an obsession based break from trying for a baby, I still cannot help but wonder when I am ovulating and all...

I have picked up a few times the Fertile Focus Saliva Scope from Fairhaven Health I received a couple months ago just to see if anything is going on within this crazy body of mine. Lately, it's been big fat nothing! NADA. I began to wonder if I A) was not using it properly or B) I was broken or C) it was broken.

Then it happened!

This afternoon I decided to give it a whirl... I placed my saliva on the glass and took the dogs outside for a little sunshine {sorry to rub it in to those of you in the South who are being drenched with rain} and fresh air. When I came back, I saw it!

It was beautiful to look at!!!! Ferning like I've never {obviously} seen before!!!! It looked like little crystals before my eyes under a green light! I wish I could take a photo of what my ferning looked like but due to the high resolution and itty bitty eye opening, I cannot. So instead, you'll have to have a view of photos thanks to google image search. :-)

The top is what I have been seeing. Nothing. I never saw the transitional... Mine went right to a beautiful {much prettier than the 'fertile' ferning on this image} ferning image!!! I will continue testing over the next few days to see what happens but am pretty darn excited about this!!!!
