Rotten!

Life in a hotel has perks- the perks may also be the very down fall we've wanted to avoid.

All the attention Little Miss gets is fantastic! She bounds happily from one adult to the next and clearly has favorites. She knows no racism... As long as you hold her while vacuuming, you are her BFF!

The down fall you ask?

Because we are not millionaires, we cannot afford a house full of staff members and thus when the glorious day arrives and we are back in our own house we will have a rotten little girl on our hands without anyone else around to give distraction.

She'll have her own room and bed {which we hope to transition her to once settled}. She'll have lots of room to throw dramatic fits when not getting her way {and give mommy and daddy a good laugh!}. She'll have to go on a hide and seek hunt to find the dogs as surely they will find a hiding spot perfect to finally get a moment of peace!

Anyone have any tips on transitioning a toddler from non stop attention living on top of each other hotel living to single family residence with room to spare??

Take her out often, to the library, the mall, the grocery store, etc so she can get her "fix" of adoration from other grown-ups.
