I will never forget...

September 11, 2001 is a day I will never forget... I hope no one does forget.

I was a {Senior} in high school. Actually, I was sitting in {History of all classes} class when the news arrived. All the TVs were turned on as we sat in horror. I think that was the quietest I have ever heard my school get. Within moments, we heard disruption in the hallway. Our teacher opened the door to see what was going on when a girl student went screaming and crying down the hallway... Later we learned that her dad was supposed to be in the Twin Towers for work. I do not know how the situation ended though.

Changing classes... Here I did not really have a class as I was just an office helper so I spent this class sitting with teachers who were not with students this period as well. One in particular, he son was working in the Pentagon... It seemed as forever had passed as she attempted calling him at work, on his cell, and reaching him via e-mail. When the moment came and he sent her an e-mail saying he was okay, she completely lost it.

Later that day, I learned that my cousin was actually in the Upper East Coast area as he was on his way to the Twin Towers for work when he heard the news and promptly turned around. Thank God for his delay that day...

So many of the same stories yet each one is important as each and every person deserves to share their story.

The images. The voices on the 9-11 recordings. The loved ones.

I will never forget...

The victims who lost their lives that day. Will never be forgotten.

The heros who lost their lives that day. Will never be forgotten.

September 11, 2001. The day Terriorst hoped to destory our beautiful country. Instead, we became stronger and bonded together more. The beautiful United States of America in which I proudly live, was not destroyed!
